I was pleased to find a FOOL'S eye shadow in the spring, which I really like! After the failure of Calanque Trio Eyeshadow, I was hopeful, Nouveau Monde Duo Eyeshdow ($ 33) would be all as expected. It was-and much more! The two colors are gorgeous, and the texture is perfect.A rich brown-olive gold is highlighted by a lilac shimmering silver. Wear each shade solo or use one as a base and the other as an accent or highlight-the combination is striking. I was careful with silver, lilac. I have a difficult relationship with Lavender-tinted shades. This here is an ice blue-lavender-in a class of its own among "lavender" shadows I have purchased in the last year or two.
Here is a colour photo of both shadows, taken indoors in the morning sunlight. I have used silver, lilac shading unevenly. Have no fear (after Calanque), it's a nice shadow force evenly and with ease, leaving the shimmering color, not just one. No opløsningskonflikter, no fallout! I think base the shadow of the Calanque was a fallacy. I really do not know what happened with FOOL'S ' production, but was pleased to see that the Nouveau Monde texture was perfect.
Silver, lilac color not beautiful? When you apply it across the lid below crease and use deep brown-tinted olives as an accent or in crease, the combination creates a stunning appearance.
