Amber essence is the common ingredient in each of Ambre mixtures products. This is amber, as it should be, soft and intoxicants. Shrill amber is incorporated in many "commercial" fragrances today is nothing like amber is used by Ambre mixtures. The company sources its amber from a seventh generation company in India (and you may know that Amber is a resin from the base of trees). It is an unusual floral, with soft warmth of amber, but gorgeous. I can't decide if I like to Invoke or Solace most. They are both lovely. I can Invoke leaning against, because I am a floral morphological gal.

Ambre mixtures sent me a sample of their products, and I was placed at the moment they arrived.
