So you're not left resembling a raccoon (see the image of the beautiful Jessica Seinfeld, left), there is actually a trick for concealer proper application. Always choose a concealer that is a shade lighter than your Foundation. Also take into account the period of the year – whether Tan you naturally you need probably a different concealer tint in the summer you in winter months. Seinfeld probably uses a shade that is too light for its skin, or it used too many cover circles ring.
To apply, dot Concealer under the eye, the nose and dark spots and then "exploit" it skin with the buffer of a finger. (Some beauty publishers swear on fingers better used to apply cache-ring but I say a pad of the finger is a finger pad and really doesn't matter). Apply in pure layers and then accumulate. The secret to incorporate the concealer so it seems natural, not obvious.
