I was born and raised in Texas, and like most Texans, I am very proud of my country of origin, so when OPI announced in February, it will launch a new collection of colors based on the Lone Star State, I am thrilled.
Shades, created around colors in varied topography State (green brown, salmon pink, turquoise coral, silver and metal) did not disappoint. Known for their names kitsch, OPI went well with this collection. See a slideshow of all the shades again and let me know your Favorites in the comments below section.
- Austin tatious is a turquoise metallic, perfect for the city more cultivated of the State.
- San Tan-tonio is a Brown light shadow reminds me of refried beans - in a good way.
- Guy meets Galveston is a bright pink, something you would wear while now a margarita in July.
- Big hair Big nails is the perfect red Texan version. Candy apple-ish sorta.
- Too Hot Pink To Hold Em, is just the color of a Texan would wear Combs silent buried in beneath silver for a weekend in Vegas trip.
- I would like to be A Lone Star is very blue light, reminiscent of the Texas sky just before a rain storm.
- Suzi loves Cowboys is a deep magenta Brown - the color of a saddle again.
- Y ' All return you hear? is a brilliant coral. I am relieved that OPI knows how correctly spell 'y' all'.
- Houston, we have purple is really, really purple. And a beautiful.
- Do you think I'm te? is a deep pink/violet which would be great reading on your toes in the sands of South Padre Island.
- Don't Mess with OPI green as the grass of Texas hill country is right to April when the bluebonnets are in full bloom.
- It is totally Fort Worth is an icy grey blue light that I covet my nail.
